There are a multitude of different and diverse ideas in entertainment that apply to everyone. In my eyes what I class as a means of entertainment can be totally different to the next man. With the age of technology such as games machines, digital television, computers and other forms of entertainment everyone has a different idea of entertainment. Some of us like to watch sports such as football and find that very entertaining but you will find that does not apply to us all. But by far the most important item we all class as a means of entertainment has to be the television with almost every household having one or more televisions.

Over the last hundred years the development in technology has moved in leaps and bounds. The age of the computer, digital television and other products aimed at providing us entertainment has developed so fast that it seems a million years ago when we had never even heard of a television. In regards to entertainment our grand fathers had a some what different idea of entertainment to what we now class as entertainment. Even though technology has developed we still have not moved on from sport as entertainment if anything sport through coverage of the media and television has become more popular as an entertainment than ever before. So in reality even though technology has moved on we still regard certain entertainment as important as it was a hundred years ago.

Entertainment is activity that we do to relax us. Entertainment is a big part of our life. We like to be entertained by others or by doing various activities that give us the amusement. From the ancient ages to till now human being is doing various kinds of entertainment activities. They invent new forms of entertainment while practicing the older form of entertainment activities. Technology is playing important role in the entertainment industry. Television, Internet, Film etc are the some of the media that technology has provided us for our entertainment.
