We are all guilty of playing a video game and unable to peel ourselves away have took a second to glance at the clock only to discover that for the last four hours you have been helping Lara scale walls, annihilate zombies and crypt monsters, defeat baddies, fire countless bullets at ferocious animals and solve bonkers puzzles.

It would be an understatement to say that video games have become amazingly addictive and immersive, dragging you into the gameplay and giving you a “feel as though you are there” experience.

Completely compelling we know how the hours can totally disappear when settling into a game, becoming almost obsessed with reaching a particular goal. There are obviously some terrific games available at the moment, with many still reeling from the huge success of the spectacular Call of Duty – Modern Warfare 2.

This and many other games are attributed to providing the massive following that is spreading the country providing a realistic and entertaining look into new, exiting ways in which to escape from reality, even just for a little while…
